Even if Vista might be a recent release of Windows, it’s still got one of the most vulnerable parts inside it – the Windows registry. It’s essentially a built-in “instruction manual” which houses all the drivers and settings for the operating system. Gradually a lot of registry entries can become corrupted from worms, improper uninstallation of applications, moving folders, and other typical activities most people do on their systems.
